It did a great job cleaning my various tanks. Just be careful, it is a little fragile. I dropped it on the floor once and cracked it. Nothing a little super glue couldn’t fix.
I use the vac attachment only to clean the gravel in a 5 gal and 20 gal freshwater aquariums. The vac does a decent job on both tanks. Well worth the price. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the plastic parts/attachments are fragile and it does drip from the top of the main intake shaft just above the water level line which is not a big deal.
Ok, so I am really dissappointed with this product. I thought it was a syphon so I assumed it would come with the hose. Nope it doesn’t. It comes with a little “bag” that looks and feels like a toddlers sock. This thing is all plastic and doesnt fit well together. I really wish I wouldn’t have purchased this item as I wanted it to me used as a water syphon too, which it can’t because of no freakin hose!
