I have been using Hikari Tropical Micro Pellets for about a year now in my 16 gallon tank. I have 2 tanks, one 10 gal exclusively tetras (neon & glolight), and the other 16 gal has tetras, barbs, platys and a plecos.
This is seriously high quality food. The Fish Store I go to can’t keep it in stock. The mechanism of this food is brilliant. The pellets float. The platy top feeders knock down pellets that get to the tetra middle feeders, what gets past them reaches the lowest eaters, the barbs. The pleco bats cleanup. It’s insanely easy.
